When I was younger, I used to fish from neighborhood piers, banks, and roadways. Then, at some point in my early 20s, I bought my first boat, which allowed me to explore the marsh and develop my passion for fishing.

I have spent many hours reading, studying, and watching fishing techniques for Specks and Red Fish over the years. All of this information has only served to increase my intense desire to capture these fish.

​After seeing my posts on my personal social media account, my relatives and friends would ask to go fishing with me because they were so impressed by the fish I was catching. Naturally, I would. Ninety percent of them had never gone fishing before. Teaching kids how to fish would take up the most of my time. It was more satisfying to witness their happiness and how grateful they were to be alive on the lake than it was to actually catch a fish. They were amazed at my patience, but patience and being prepared for the big bite are essential qualities of a successful angler!
